Besides his regular studies Per has also attended masterclasscourses in Sweden, Portugal, Germany, Hungary and USA. He has also participated in masterclasses with Nigel North, Emma Kirkby and Sergio Azzolini.

Per Gross is very active as a freelance musician in Sweden and abroad, and he has appeared as soloist and chambermusician with The Stockholm Youth Symphony Orchestra (SUSO), Tiranas Young Virtuosos (Albania) and The Drottningholm Baroque Ensemble.

As a member of The Britten-Pears Baroque Orchestra (BPBO) 2003 (Monteverdi: I´ll ritorno d´Ulisse in patria/Michael Chance) and 2005 Per has played in England, and he performed with the countertenor Andreas Scholl during Snape Proms in august -05.

Together with The European Baroque Academy of Ambronay Per toured in France and Spain in 2004 with operas Actéon and Les Arts Florissants under the leading of Christophe Rousset. In 2006 Per again joined the Britten-Pears Baroque Orchestra for the staging of Purcells opera King Arthur with Laurence Cummings as leader and conductor.

In september 2007 Per was the recipient of the second (2nd) price in The Montreal International Recorder Competition, Canada.

In March 2008 Per took part in a fully staged set of Handel cantatas at The Badisches Staatstheater, with Peter van Heyghen during The International Händelfestspiele in Karlsruhe, Germany
In august 2008 Per was thrilled to once more join The BPBO for a highly succesfull performance of the Handel oratorio Athalia with conductor Richard Egarr.

Furthermore Per has appeared in broadcasts for radio and television, and received scholarships from Lions, The Lindau Foundation, the Helge Ax:son Johnson Foundation and The Royal Swedish Academy of Music.
